This this undoubtedly the dawn of a new era. Most GSM companies have slashed their rates by a good margin. Reliance went a step further reducing rates for all GSM and CDMA customers to 50p/min for all local calls. Whats more is that they are openly challenging Bharti and Vodafone to follow suit by making a mockery of their conditions apply things and special vouchers needed to get equivalent rates.

Here is to hoping all the big players realise that their drop in revenue will be nothing compared to the people who switch to other companies after they dont reduce their rates.
